I have been waiting for some time to write my first race report, but especially to compete at a time trial. So the stiking of the opportunity made possible to combine this two wishes into creating the Race Report of race called "Revolutio". I know that there are a lot to talk about a time trial,as everything can be resumed to an old thing my coach used to tell :"You start fast, continue faster and finish the fastest", but maybe there is a way to place some words between the awesome pictures that are involved in the race of truth.
So, without spending more time talking about stuffs, here it starts: Maybe you`ve heard about the quality of the organization of a race from the RGT project or maybe not. Anyway, it is one of the best and it showed this this time too as, from all the 60-70 riders who competed, the only disappointment was the lack of chips, but without consequences on the results. The route was wonderful, "flat as a pancake" in theory, but with some slopes with a gradient of 10%, which managed to get you out of the rhythm like a rider who grabs your saddle just so you can pull him up the climb. The average speed was good, somewhere near 40km/h with an official time of 1:01:37 ,but both could have been improved. Anyway, i managed to finish first at my category, my junior opponent, Babaita, finishing ahead of me with 4 minutes as 3rd overall, more or less because of the airplane he was riding. But i`ve seen with who i`m racing against and what advantages i have(job`s secret, will not be divulged). The products i`ve got from Etixx have been tested in a hot and wet day while maintaining a high effort and have made me get a bit of advantage in front of an equipment my parents would have to sell their car for.I`m entirely convinced that the hunger and the faithfulness will shoe up at the right time and I will succeed. But until then there is more time that can be exploited, especially that the number of people that support me has grown with a man that is full of surprises. The next race report will be next weekend and will be actually two of them: one for RGT Infernul Muntelui and one for Cetatuia XCO. Until next time, don`t forget to share so that other people can see. Stay awesome Gotham! Ceaustoc!
